Fat Girl's Recipe: MENUDO

A lot of my friends are asking how to cook menudo. Well first off, menudo is a very colorful dish because of the different colored vegetables not to mention the hotdog. So here it goes hope everyone likes it. 




 MENUDO

 Ingredients: 
MENUDO
1/2 kilo Pork Belly 
1/4 kilo Chicken Liver 
3 pcs. Jumbo hotdog, sliced 
3 Cloves Garlic, minced 
2 medium sized Red Onion, diced 
2 medium sized Tomatoes, cubes 
5 medium sized Potatoes, cubes 
2 pcs. Carrots, cubes 
4 small Green Bell Peppers, cubes 
1 small pack Frozen Peas 


 4 c Water 
1/2 c soy sauce 
1/3 c oyster sauce 
3 tbsp. Tomato Paste 
2 tbsp. Sugar 
Salt and Pepper 


Procedure: 
1. Saute garlic and onion until golden brown,add the pork and let it cook. 
2. Once the pork is cooked, add the tomatoes. 
3. After adding the tomatoes, add the potatoes and carrots. Let it cook for a few minutes. Then add the hotdogs. 
4. Once the potatoes and carrots are half cooked add the hotdog and chicken liver. Let it cook for a few minutes. 
5. Add the rest of the ingredients except the bell pepper And peas. Let it simmer for 3 minutes. 
6. Lastly, add the bell pepper and peas. Let it simmer until all ingredients are cooked evenly. 


 READY TO SERVE!!!
